I work primarily as a Lighting Designer, creating designs for theatre, music, dance, and corporate events.

After training at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London, I built a career touring internationally as a re-lighter for contemporary dance companies while also developing my own theatrical lighting work.
Alongside my design practice, I also work as a Technical and Production Manager, supporting a wide range of performances and live events.

Theatre Bio
Zak Macro is a theatre maker and storyteller. Since graduating from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in 2018, Zak has been designing lighting for music, theatre, and contemporary dance, shaping atmosphere and narrative through light.
When not creating his own work, Zak tours internationally as a re-lighter, technical manager, and production manager, collaborating with artists and companies to bring performances to life.
